Did you know you can rent out the Jeanne Dini Cultural Center for your next event? Whether it’s a small gathering for a birthday shower, a larger gathering like a wedding or a reunion, or you have an event of your own you’d like to put on, we’re the perfect spot for a time you’ll never forget!
There are three categories of Center Rentals:
- Standard Rental: private or public events, programs, and activities.
- Community Use Rental: Community groups may schedule one to two hour meetings or rehearsal at a reduced fee. Request must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Priority will be given to cultural and arts related groups whenever possible. Fees may be waived for YTA members.
- School Use Rental: YTA is available for the school use for a maximum of 10 consecutive days per program, including rehearsals. All school use events and activities still require a completed rental application and payment of $200 for cleaning, maintenance, & garbage fee to be collected. Fee may be waived if school provides youth and janitor to volunteer and complete these needed services. Priority will be given to cultural and arts related groups whenever possible.
A certificate of liability for a minimum of a 24 hour period of the date of your rental is required. This will be required within one week of the needed rental.
The Insurance must explicitly state the following conditions:
A. $1,000,000.00 Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability Limits
B. $1,000,000.00 Host Liquor Liability must be specifically included in the above coverage if liquor is provided during the event.
C. The Lyon County School District and the Yerington Theatre for the Arts, Inc., its owners, officers, agents, and employees, must be named as additional insured for any claim or claims resulting from or growing out of the renter or event.
Users/Renters are responsible for their own set-up and clean-up within their time reserved time block or will pay additional fees for YTA staff to assist with these needs.
The Jeanne Dini Center has facilities to accommodate groups from 10 – 200 people and is fully furnished to meet a variety of needs. The lobby, theater, gallery, classroom, and outdoor spaces are available at daily rates. The grounds and first floor of the YTA Center is wheelchair accessible with ADA restroom facilities. The Center is an air-conditioned, non-smoking facility, perfect for all seasons.
Capacity for indoor events is 140; outdoor 200
The Center has a newly renovated industrial kitchen you are welcome to use or bring your own caterer. Please confirm your vendors and a general timeline for your event, also provide appropriate permits or food handlers cards.
